What Words Can Never Truly Capture

There are only so many ways you can say ‘live in the now’, only a limited amount of options when you’re trying to describe what it’s all about.

Suddenly it all falls away for me and I’m left with the knowledge that there is actually nothing more than what is right here, right at this moment. This is the instant to be happy, fulfilled, satisfied, enlightened, or any other label you want to give it. There is NO future right NOW. STOP!

STOP STOP STOP…stop seeking, stop finding even, you’ve already found it, you never had to search, it’s right here and it always has been. Wherever you go, there you are. Hahaahaa, laugh with me, can you see it now!? Can you feel it and know it and be it?

All this confusion and sadness. All of these lost people searching for what they already have, crying for something which is impossible to buy has no value because it cannot be sold. Nothing you ever do will take you further from or closer towards it. Nothing you make, hold on to, lose, find, take, accumulate or sell will bring you one step nearer…because you are there already.

It is so simple my beautiful friends; so easy; so old and always so new.

Day One of the New Adventure in Lewes

After arriving in the dark and feeling more than a little overwhelmed by all the emotional experiences happening to me over the last few days, what with bidding farewell to London, my beautiful friends there, my amazing job at Alchemy…and also looking forward to the new adventures, I happily collapsed straight into bed at Shazzie’s house, to wake up to silence (Shazzie is away until this evening). Out here all I can hear is the wind in the trees, the sounds of birds and the rustles in the undergrowth. A little different to London’s sirens, cars hooting, engines revving and general electric hum. I think I can get used to this.

Realized that without any means of transport other than my wonderful legs, I am limited in where I can go. I am, apparently, half an hour’s walk from the nearest bus stop, which suits me just fine. So, Saturday morning I decided to take a stroll down the road and find my way into Lewes and then Brighton. Walking down a silent and still country road, something bubbled up inside me and I began to giggle…and then chuckle…and then laugh out loud with my heart and mouth wide open, sharing the sounds of me gasping for breathe and laughing it out again with nothing but the hedges and possibly a few condescending foxes wondering what all the fuss was about.  It was as though the part of me which is the little voice -the heart, the core, the gut feeling, the angel on my shoulder- suddenly leapt out and filled my whole being because it was happy happy happy that I had listened and now look, LOOK WHERE I AM!

Looking Left Down A Sunny Country LaneLooking Right Down A Sunny Country Lane

My day was filled with adventures: I ended up hitch-hiking into Lewes as I clearly wasn’t going to end up there any other way; I explored the streets; checked out bikes, bought some lovely organic oranges and apples, smiled at everyone I met and emanated happiness from every pore.

Brighton was next, so I hopped on the train, which cost me £3.90 return (AWESOME), and took me 20 minutes to get there. This means I’m not far from a city should I feel the need for one. I explored a few bicycle shops and found the one where I’ll be buying my bicycle from, a beautifully tucked away and hard-to-find (don’t ask me why that appeals to me, it just does) workshop which restores and sells second-hand bikes (which are stacked all over the place). It is owned by a man who I can tell is a master of his craft. I love meeting masters, they always inspire me! His apprentice has the glint of passion in his eye which I have come to recognise. People who are doing what they love are beacons of light in this world, actualized angels, and I love recognising them!

I then purchased a whole bunch of fruit in order to facilitate my continuing experiment with the HighFruitLowFat  Raw diet, which seems to be giving me more energy so far…but is definitely challenging my previous addiction to comfort food in terms of fat intake (nuts, olives, oils, avocados!).

Today I am sat at a glass-topped table which I have just wiped down, I’m listening to the glorious music of Sparklehorse and getting ready to do a bit of a clean-up.

Shazzie gets back this evening and tomorrow I begin my new job as her Personal Assistant. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you can’t create paradise for yourself, right now!

Thank You and Farewell to London

I’ve just arrived home from the most heart-warming and Love Heart for Nate Maingardlovely evening at inSpiral Lounge, bidding farewell to some of my new friends. Although, it  doesn’t feel like a farewell to me but much more like a ‘see you later’.

To the right is the amazing card given to me by the staff at Alchemy The Centre as a farewell gift and in it are beautiful messages from my amazing friends. I feel truly, truly blessed to know such wonderful people and to be held in such high regard by them all!

It was a lovely experience to have a group of people come together to wish me well and to interact with me and one another, to share in the joy of communication and excitement for one another’s stories. I do love the stories of life we share.

The people there tonight: Lovely Julie Juice, who I met one day while working at Alchemy and who perspicaciously asked me to join her for tea, which began our inseparable and beautifully psychic friendship; Beautiful Ashley, for whom I made the most awesome of super purple corn smoothies when he came in to inSpiral and who’s music has moved me; Perry, who was the first person I met at Alchemy and who’s incredible journey inspires me so much; Mark, who’s music is gorgeous, who complimented me in the most authentic and touching way and who is bravely following his dream; Sarah, who is sweetness personified; Mary, who is my avocado Saturday work buddy and who’s leather designs are true art; Dirish, who is graceful and heartfelt and who healed my eye after I got a hat in it; Mayra, who kicked off my stay in London by hooking me up with the inSpiral Crew; Michael, my beautiful friend who I’ve known for so long; Ed, who is the only person who shakes my hand SA style and who is a legend meditator; Michaela, who will always be synonymous in my mind with chocolate cake and smiles; Glorious Geraldine, who my favourite inSpiral shifts; Caitlin, who’s chocolate deserves fame!

I must give special mention to two incredible women: Judith, for seeing me clearly and allowing me the honour of joining the ranks of Alchemists; Ra, for opening my heart with her magical, mysterious and miraculous energy. Thank you both for allowing me to shine all the brigther with every breath.

All those beautiful people reflecting my beauty right back at me and shining their lights, angels one and all. *sigh*

Thank you London, for providing  me with the most incredible of adventures, with amazing connections and perfect synchronicities. Thank you inSpiral, Alchemy and all the people I have met in these last three months (it’s been three months to the day since I arrived)!

I look forward with shining eyes, towards the adventures and unknown challenges ahead. I look forward to continuing to live a life of value and faithful trust in my ability to Grow into my full potential as an Angelic Wild Boy.

love for men who are inspiring & raw living!

There is a change happening and it’s happened already to many. There are men out there (and hopefully in here) who are raw in their emotions and who aren’t afraid to step out and be real! There are men who’s feminine side is only serving to beautifully illuminate their masculine wildness. I just want to send my praises and love and respect to those men, those men who are not afraid to step into their power without having to be egotistical and overbearing about it!

One of the men who I am enjoying admiring at the moment is Dan The Man With The Master Plan, for his candor and enthusiasm and his pure shining  raw health! There’s a man who walks his talk and talks beautiful raw love! Your van is awesome, your juices look amazing and you speak wise words!

Another man who never ceases to amaze me is my dad Marc Maingard, for always being willing to listen and learn and who taught me all about fasting, enemas, raw emotions, speaking truth, how to sit on the toilet (to be covered in another post), the power of intent and a host of other awesome things.

Thank you beautiful men out there, you inspire me!
